Michelle McIntyre, president of Michelle McIntyre Communications, LLC, @FromMichelle, is an IBM vet, social media influencer, and tech consultant to VCs, startups, and medium and large businesses. She blogs regularly about entrepreneurship, start-ups and technology and communications trends. She is published on several sites including Huffington Post and VLAB.org. She holds 11 awards for outstanding results in media relations: several are from IBM where she worked for more than a decade. McIntyre has worked at top PR agencies. She was Employee of the Year at Global Fluency; it was called "Neale-May and Partners" at the time.
McIntyre often gives back to the community and is a former executive of the (California) Sixth District PTA, Boy Scout Eagle Scout-required merit badge counselor. She holds a bachelors of science degree in Journalism from the Ohio University E.W. Scripps School of Journalism with a major in PR. McIntyre believes you can never stop learning; she recently took a PR refresher course at Stanford University. McIntyre likes 5ks, boating, walking her big dog and hanging out on the beach in Punta Cana.
