According to a recent visual compilation from Baynote, we can gather a broad sense of engagement of employees across a myriad of industries. For example, it looks like employees in professional, scientific, and technical services have the highest level of engagement, while folks in accommodations, food services and retail trade are amongst the lowest in engagement. The study goes on to reveal that only 28% of retail employees said they were highly engaged with their work, with 29% of those surveyed noting they were actually disengaged.
