Vibe Retail has entered into a strategic partnership with MiCamp Solutions in a move aimed at broadening access to modern point-of-sale (POS) systems for independent retailers across the United States.
The collaboration brings together Vibe Retail’s cloud-based retail operating system with MiCamp Solutions’ payments infrastructure and merchant distribution network. Together, the companies plan to deliver an integrated offering that combines payment processing and POS functionality into a single platform designed for small and mid-sized businesses.
At the center of the initiative is a push to make enterprise-grade retail technology more accessible to independent merchants—many of whom have traditionally faced high upfront costs and fragmented systems that make it difficult to compete with larger retail chains.
Zero-upfront-cost model aimed at lowering barriers
A key feature of the rollout is a deployment model that allows eligible merchants to adopt the Vibe POS system without any upfront software cost, according to the companies. The goal is to reduce friction for retailers looking to modernize operations while avoiding large initial investments in technology infrastructure.
The companies say this approach is intended to accelerate adoption among small businesses that need advanced tools but often lack the budget or technical resources to implement them.
Expanding reach through MiCamp’s payments network
MiCamp Solutions brings significant scale to the partnership, reporting more than 60,000 merchants globally and over $75 billion in annual payment processing volume. Founded in 2007, the company has built a distribution network that includes more than 600 independent service organizations and has appeared multiple times on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies.
The firm also maintains relationships across the broader payments ecosystem, including membership in the Fiserv Chairman’s Circle and partnerships with companies such as Fiserv and Repay Holdings Corporation.
Through the agreement, MiCamp will act as an authorized independent sales organization (ISO) for Vibe Retail, distributing the POS platform directly to its merchant base and expanding its reach into the independent retail sector. The companies say this will also help streamline onboarding and reduce complexity for new users adopting the system.
Executives highlight accessibility and modernization
Leadership from both companies framed the partnership as part of a broader effort to modernize retail infrastructure for independent businesses.
“We’re thrilled to partner with MiCamp Solutions as we continue to grow Vibe Retail’s footprint across the country,” said Shmuly Preizler, CEO of Vibe Retail. “Micah and his team have built one of the most impressive networks in the payments industry, and their commitment to their merchants aligns perfectly with what we’re building at Vibe. Independent retailers deserve world-class technology, and together we’re going to make sure they get it.”
MiCamp Solutions President Micah Kinsler emphasized the operational benefits for merchants adopting the combined platform.
“Vibe Retail delivers the kind of modern, integrated POS platform independent retailers have historically been locked out of,” Kinsler said. “By combining Vibe’s technology with MiCamp’s payment infrastructure and distribution network, we are giving merchants a more efficient and cost-effective way to run and scale their business. This partnership brings enterprise-level capability to independent retailers in a way that is accessible and built for how they actually operate.”
Rollout already underway
The partnership takes effect immediately, with integration work already in progress. Both companies say they are preparing a phased rollout to merchants over the coming months, with a focus on expanding availability through MiCamp’s existing distribution channels.
If successful, the companies say the collaboration could significantly broaden access to integrated retail technology tools that have traditionally been reserved for larger enterprise operators.
