Profile: Jason Yormark

I’m currently Vice President of Marketing and Social Media at Strategies 360 where I focus on community building, digital marketing, and social media experience to create and drive the execution of compelling social media initiatives for S360 clients.

Previously, I spent 5 years at Microsoft, building marketing and social media programs for Microsoft Advertising, Mac Office, and Microsoft Office.  Prior to that, I directed a full-service firm providing Web design, marketing, and PR solutions.  Throughout my career, I’ve developed search marketing campaigns, both SEM and SEO, for hundreds of businesses.  I’ve also contributed to international business projects, including contributing to the launch of European operations for the Microsoft SMB Advertising Services Group.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communications with a Minor in English at Illinois State University. I completed my Masters in Education from the University of Phoenix.

Father of two boys, husband to one wife.  I live in the Pacifc NW, a bit north of Seattle after living most of my life as a Chicagoan.   In my spare time, I enjoy amateur filmmakingplaying baseball, gadgets and social networking all while trying to become an aspiring author as I work through writing my first book.

I especially love watching my boys grow up, experiencing everything the Pacific NW gives, and a variety of other semi-exciting things.  My blog is the place I go to share my life experiences (social and professional), and also attempt to write humorously about the things I find amusing.

I blog regularly at www.jasonyormark.com
