Zach Galifianakis and his series Between Two Ferns has developed a cult-like following thanks to its incredibly weird, yet oddly endearing interviews with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. This week Brad Pitt appeared on the show and he used the opportunity to spit in Galifianakis’ face.
As is often the case on Between Two Ferns, Zach attempted as much as possible to get under Brad Pitt’s skin, at one point asking him about his favorite Friends characters and then loudly blaring the theme song that made his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston famous.
Brad Pitt was also gifted an item that Galifianakis claimed was a bassoon, but which obviously represented a bong.
The A-list actor plays along really well with the Between Two Ferns host, acting like a distant actor who doesn’t want to be bothered with the silly show.
There are a ton of really good moments in the video, which explains why it has received more than 1.4 million views in less than 24 hours.
Oh Louis C.K. also shows up, and Zach has to explain to him that Brad Pitt is the Benjamin Buttons guy, which in itself explains the entire filmed scene pretty darn well.
