With Christmas on the way, only 20 days away to be precise, people are starting to kick preparations into high gear. My future-in-laws have already started making their famous Italian Pizzelles! For those of you who do not know what a pizzelle is, you don’t know what you’re missing. Here is one of many variations of the recipe.
This is a time for family, love, and most importantly, laughter. We all seem to forget this during the holiday season, no matter what holiday we celebrate, because we are absorbed in the commercial aspect of the season. With buying presents, wrapping them up, decorating the house, and the tree, and sometimes even the car, there seems to be no end to the crazy list that makes up our holidays.
We should never forget about family though! We actually can’t. It’s almost impossible during the holidays with their constant phone calls, e-mails, text messages, and sometimes even their yelling from downstairs about how hot the oven should be, or who covered the kitten in tinsel (shhsh… it really wasn’t me!).
