Ariana Grande will be headlining the 64th NBA All-Star Game halftime show on Sunday, Feb. 15. The 21-year-old singer is expected to belt out her hits “Bang Bang”, “Break Free”, “Love Me Harder” and “Problem.”
The game, held at New York’s Madison Square Garden, will be aired on TNT at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. The Ariana Grande announcement was made on the 2015 NBA All-Star’s twitter account today.

Grande is having a great year. She’s up for two Grammys, Best Pop Vocal Album (My Everything) and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Bang Bang” with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj). She also landed a role on Ryan Murphy’s Fox thriller “Scream Queens.”
An embarrassing moment Grande did endure was being bonked in the head by Victoria’s Secret model Elsa Hosk during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show taping on Dec 2. With humor, she later tweeted: “A Victoria’s Secret angel accidentally smacked me in the face with her wings and it was awesome #goals #bangbangintomyface.”
The Nickelodeon actress who starred in “Victorious” and “Sam & Cat” has always wanted to make R& B music.
She told Billboard, “I remember when I first came to L.A. to meet with my managers, I was like, ‘I want to make an R&B album. They were like…um, that’s a helluva goal! Who is going to buy a 14-year-old’s R&B album?!'”
In the interview Grande also talked about her track “Problem” stating, “I loved the idea of it, but the chorus, the whisper was so shocking to me.”
The NBA All-Star Game halftime show with Grande is only one part of the main event for the weekend. There’s a Celebrity Game on Friday, Feb. 13 at MSG and the All-Star Saturday Night events at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The NBA All-Star Game halftime show featuring Ariana Grande is presented by the Entertainment Series via JBL. Last year, Earth Wind & Fire and Janelle Monae were among the performers.
