Human Barbie Assaulted Outside Her Odessa Home

The women that attracted the world’s attention as a Human Barbie became a victim of a heinous assault outside her Odessa home in the Ukraine. Valeria Lukyanova was treated at a medical facility for minor head injuries and swollen lips, and has since been released.

The incident happened on Halloween night as Lukyanova was returning from a shopping trip. As she made her way to the front porch, two men bum rushed her from behind and repeatedly struck her over the head.

According to her accounts reported by the Daily Mail:

They said nothing and did not try to rob me. It happened in a flash, they hit me on the head, several times on my jaw, then one of them began strangling me. If it wasn’t for my neighbor who who suddenly appeared, I don’t know what would have happened. They saw her and ran away.

She said that the attack happened so quickly, and that the men made no attempt to rob her and did not even say anything during the assault. It was only when her neighbor heard the scuffle and went outside to check that the attackers ran off.

The assailants remain at large, and Lukyanova does not believe she was targeted at random. She has been the victim of multiple online threats and verbal assaults over the last few years. While a lot of those are stemmed from her appearance, some have also been the result of controversial remarks she made during interviews.

The Human Barbie previously drew criticism for asserting in a GQ interview that children brought “revulsion” in her. She also condemned inter-racial relationships and attributed it to the degradation of beauty. She even made statements that were outright strange, such as by claiming that she is an extraterrestrial alien and that she subsides off a diet of light and air.

Several people have questioned the authenticity of the incident. Rumors have circulated that she made the story up and that she was really recovering from plastic surgery. The human Barbie, however, has vehemently denied the rumors and claimed that her appearance is completely natural and that she has never had any form of cosmetic surgery other than breast enlargement implants.
