This could be the most important – and innovative – exchange to hit the market. Forget about IPOs and liquidity events for a moment … and think about hair.
Sole Ryeders & Friends, a non-profit organization, has just brought a new exchange into the marketplace. The Wig Exchange is a network for women going through chemotherapy: it provides professionally-maintained wigs donated by cancer survivors and other program partners. It already has more than 60 wigs in its initial inventory, and it’s not stopping there.
According to MyRye.com, it is ‘working with service partners to have wigs professionally cleaned and reconditioned, and subject to inventory, finding the right wig for a cancer patient.
