At the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, MC Hammer announced a project he’s been working on for two years called WireDoo. WireDoo, Hammer explained, is going to be a new search engine with “deep search” capabilities.

The tagline of WireDoo is “Search once and see what’s related.” WireDoo is being designed to perform better than other search engines when it comes to connecting keywords to related topics. Since WireDoo isn’t even close to launching, Hammer didn’t reveal too many other details.

What do you think? Is it even possible for a new search engine to take on a search giant like Google?
