Believing in yourself is probably the single most important key to creating success… it may seem like it’s many other things – knowing how to do stuff, knowing what to do, who you have relationships with and so much more.
The bottom line, though, is that people create success from all different levels of skill, ability, relationships etc.
The one thing all successful people have in common? They believed they could become successful.
If you find that your belief is lacking, there is a simple prescription for shifting it. Change the way you think and talk to yourself.
Your mind is basically an automatic response mechanism. Yes, I know – sometimes it feels completely out of your control, but it’s not, I swear.
As an automatic response mechanism, your mind will work to prove whatever you are saying to yourself right. It will come up with ideas, memories and thoughts to support whatever conclusion you are embracing.
So, you want to shift from, “Oh, I don’t know if I can do that,” to “I know I can do that.” It’s so simple it sounds almost ridiculous, but it actually works. When you shift your mind from one direction to the other it will prove you right. It will start to offer up a variety of reasons why you can, instead of reasons why you can’t.
Honestly, you’ve got nothing to lose for trying right? How about committing to watching your thoughts for a week, shifting them to thoughts that align with believing in yourself and see what happens?
And, when it comes to marketing, it’s all about the same thing. If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can’t, you won’t.
So, let’s get you the tools to feed your belief, and let’s get you with a small group of like-minded people who are working toward a similar goal – sign up here to be on the early bird notification list for my new Marketing in the Morning™ program. We’ll be covering both the mindset pieces AND the practical pieces to building marketing that brings in clients, helps your business grow, increases revenue and eliminates that sense of overwhelm that hangs over us so often when we aren’t sure what to do or where to start.
Just yesterday I decided to do something really special for people who sign-up for the early bird notification, so even if you’re on the fence and not sure it will be the right fit for you, if you think there’s a possibility, sign up here, and you can decide once you have some more information.
