Kendall Jenner may soon be announced as the next Victoria’s Secret model. Over the last week various publications have been to report on her rising star in the fashion world and demands for her services.
According to In Touch Weekly, Victoria’s Secret is planning for their annual fashion show, and Kendall Jenner is at the top of the list for becoming the company’s next model to grace the Victoria’s Secret runway.
“They saw all the buzz she got from walking in New York Fashion Week,” a source told the publication. “They’d love to lock in a contract with her.”
That same source claims that Kendall Jenner has always dreamed of being a Victoria’s Secret model.
While Jenner has taken the fashion world by storm, appearing in various Paris Fashion Week shows this year, some snoops believe mom Kris Jenner could get in the way. Insiders believe the Keeping Up With the Kardashians ‘momager’ could ask for too much money and other perks that would push her daughter out of running for the new role.
Kendall could end up distancing herself further from her momager. The young and rising fashion star is already billing herself as “Kendall” with her modeling agency. As previously reported by Business2Community, Kendall dropped her last name in order to gain more respect in the modeling world. The young fashionista claims that more work as come her way since she dropped the Jenner name from her booking sheets.
As Kendall Jenner moves closer to supermodel status, the Victoria’s Secrets spot has to be directly in her sights.
