The Golden State Warriors are the best team in the NBA, and certainly showed it with their most recent performance. With the help of Draymond Green’s first triple double, the Warriors beat the Raptors 126-105.

The Warriors are led by their star Stephen Curry, and he scored 32 along with 12 assists in the win. Draymond Green put up his record numbers with 16 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds.

Following the injury to their big man Andrew Bogut, Golden State has been forced to go small in their lineup, although it has not hurt them a ton due to the strong play of their guards. However, they did lose two games in a row, which started to raise some questions, especially since one was against a Lakers team that did not have Kobe Bryant in the lineup.

The Golden State Warriors are able to go at a faster pace than their opponents with Draymond Green sometimes being the biggest man on the court, and the pace of the game was what hurt the Raptors. The Raptors were also playing without their star DeMar DeRozan for the 16th straight game.

With the Warriors and Raptors being the top teams in the eastern and western conferences, it is sure to be an important game when they match up against one another.

Draymond Green spoke about the game when saying “One thing we always say when we’re playing against a team like this is, ‘This is a team we could possibly play later on in the year. Try to make a statement.”

With a win of over 20 points, and having four players score in double figures, the Warriors certainly made a big statement, but could they possibly see them again in the NBA finals? The loss for the Raptors also slides them down to second place in the conference with the Atlanta Hawks moving into the top spot.

With help from each of their stars Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, the Golden State Warriors are now on a 3 game winning streak following the 2 game skid, and will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. The Raptors will play at Phoenix on Sunday.
