With only 2 games left in the regular season the NBA Playoff picture is coming down to the wire. This has been a year of shocking surprises in the western conference and a not so entertaining eastern conference with a predicted cruise control into the NBA finals for Lebron James and the Miami Heat. Last years most profitable NBA handicapper for the NBA Playoffs Mike Cooper of Coopers Pick who has agreed to comment and give his insight on the current 2013 NBA Playoff picture.

The western conference currently has Dwight Howard and the Los Angeles Lakers as a number 8 seed facing off against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Our predictions have the Thunder winning in 5 games and the handicappers over at Basketball Betting Picks have a consensus pick of the OKC Thunder sweeping in 4 games in round 1.  The same holds true for the Eastern conference with the Miami Heat beating the Milwaukee Bucks in 4 games.

For the second and 7th seed The San Antonio Spurs vs the Golden State Warriors who are making the NBA Playoffs for the first time in 6 seasons and only the second time ver in their history. The April 15th matchup should say a lot about what you can expect in the future for the upcoming postseason between these two teams. The Boston Celtics vs the New York Knicks will be an exciting series but you can be assured that the way the Knicks are playing they are the only team that has a chance to beat the Heat.

For the 3rd and 6th seed we have a bunch of wildcard opportunities. Indiana Pacers who put up the biggest fight against the Heat in the 2012 playoffs play a broken down Chicago Bulls team that if Derek Rose shows up then all qualms will be settled otherwise there is no fighting chance for the Bulls to beat the Heat in a best of 7 series. In the western conference The Denver Nuggets (#3 seed) faceoff against the Houston Rockets in a matchup that handicapping experts like the Nuggets to win in 7 games.

For the 4th and 5th seeds we have the Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks. We have no formal predictions as of yet against the spread for this matchup and the western conference we have the red hot L.A. Clippers vs the Memphis Grizzlies which if Blake Griffin and Chris Paul continue to play as strong as they have been then you can 100% assume that any sports betting system should place the Clippers going deep into the western conference playoffs with a headwind coming when they meet Kevin Durant and the OKC Thunder.
