What do you get when you cross a blonde girl, twerking and fire? You get a ton of exposure and free advertising. Jimmy Kimmel pulled a fast one on us by launching “Twerking Girl on Fire” which fooled not only viewers, but also fooled leading news stations racking up over 9 million views in the process. Pretty darn good PR Stunt.
The Reality
The RealityKimmel later revealed the director’s cut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” featuring the star of the video, Daphne Avalon, a professional stunt woman.
What is to be learned from all of this? Jimmy now hopes that this will end the twerking fad forever. However, from the latest look at the amount of views the video has garnered, I would beg to differ.
