Gary Vaynerchuk Announces End of Wine Library TV, Launches Daily Grape

Considered a trailblazer and mainstream advocate of social media, best-selling author, entrepreneur and video blogger Gary Vaynerchuk announced the end of his extremely successful video blog, Wine Library TV, on it’s 1000th episode. At the same episode he officially launches his new site Daily Grape.

According to the new website, “For more than 5 years, through Wine Library TV, Gary Vay-ner-chuk provided you with a useful and fun, though far from conventional, daily dose of wine education and recommendations. Today, Gary continues expanding palates and breaking down wine barriers with Daily Grape.”

The Daily Grape features Gary’s standard video blogs, access to Gary’s Newsletter (with a paid version) and a list of wines that Gary have and will be featuring on the site. “I believe mobile is the future platform,” Gary said in his new site’s first video blog and said that he wants to make his content usable. The site is closely tied-in to its free iPhone app, which will allow users “to virtually share a daily glass of wine with Gary, in the form of a free, easily-consumable wine video.”

Gary shot the first episode of Daily Grape at the first Whole Foods in Austin, TX, a few hours before he delivered his keynote address at the South by Southwest Festival.
