1. Zomato acquires Menumania; First of many global acquisitions to come: In a bid to strengthen its global footprint, Zomato has acquired the New Zealand-based online restaurant guide MenuMania for an undisclosed amount. A The Economic Times report pegs the deal to be an all-cash deal worth Rs 5 crore, although the company declined to confirm this to Medianama. Read more here.

2. JWT wins Naturals’ creative, digital mandate: Naturals, a leading beauty salon and spa chain, has appointed JWT as their new creative agency. JWT will handle Naturals marketing campaigns across TV, print and online. The social media campaigns will also be managed by JWT’s digital arm. Read more here.

3. iContract wins bags digital mandate for Sony Music Entertainment: iContract, the digital agency offering from Contract Advertising, has been awarded the digital duties by Sony Music Entertainment, India following a multi-agency pitch. Read more here.

4. Four arrested for streaming Indian TV content through Jadoo TV: It’s not quite Aereo, but a group of people based in Hyderabad were arrested for live streaming Indian satellite TV content through the Jadoo TV service, The Times of India reports. (hat tip: Raghavender GR). The police were acting on a complaint from Krishna Kumar, manager-distribution of Maa Television Network Limited, a TV channel. Read more here.

5. IMImobile closes 11.3% up on London AIM’s debut; £63.15M market cap: Mobile VAS provider IMImobile closed at 133.50 pence per share on the day it made its debut on London’s AIM exchange, up 11.25% from its issue price of 120 pence per share. Read more here.

6. Cadbury Dairy Milk shows how to find joy and live from the heart: Cadbury Dairy Milk has rolled out a new TVC named ‘Joy in Snow’ to illustrate how a little push in the right direction can open one’s life to pure joy. The campaign has been conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather, whose brief was to make consumers aware of the fact that life lies in now, that true joy resides in the act of letting go, and one should enjoy life as if no one’s watching.
