Everyone has a Thanksgiving tradition. Whether it’s watching football, breaking the turkey wishbone or sharing gratitude before the big meal, many people have classic customs with family and friends. To celebrate next week’s holiday, Twitter users shared some of the weirdest and most outlandish Thanksgiving rituals—and the results are total gravy.

#WeirdThanksgivingTraditions, which became a trending hashtag in the Rock Tagging hashtag game Thursday evening, invited users to share some seriously strange customs for the food-centric holiday. The hashtag game, which generated more than 2,000 tweets, traditions such as “starting a turkey revolution,” “taking a knee during dinner,” eating tofurkey and pizza and engaging in plenty of “Friends”-inspired shenanigans.
