When you think of Celine Dion, “comedy” might not be the first thing that comes to mind (and if you thought of Celine Dion and got “My Heart Will Go On” stuck in your head immediately, well, then I apologize). The singer appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon this week and exercised her comedy chops when she and Jimmy Fallon played a game of “Wheel of Musical Impressions,” which is a popular segment on the late-night show.

The premise is simple: Jimmy and the guest take turns spinning the wheel. It lands “randomly” on a musician’s name whom they must impersonate, and then a second wheel indicates the song they have to perform.

Celine was up first and had to sing “Frère Jacques” in the style of Cher. She nailed it, even mashing up the song with Cher’s 1999 smash-hit-you-couldn’t-get-away-from, “Believe.” Next, Jimmy had to sing “One Dance” as Michael Jackson. Celine’s next round was singing “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” as Rihanna, which she performed as “Work.” Jimmy’s next round was performing Cookie Monster’s “C is For Cookie” (and also for Celine, as she noted) as Johnny Cash. Finally, Celine Dion wrapped up the segment performing “Hush Little Baby” as Sia, covering her face with a stuffed panda bear to imitate Sia’s long black and white bangs covering her face.

The segment is funny, especially in a way that you don’t necessarily expect from Celine Dion, which makes it all the better. Check out the full video below.
