Singer-songwriter and ukulele player Grace VanderWaal was sharing happy and fun songs well before she won “America’s Got Talent.” The 12-year-old singing star showcased her special ukulele skills before joining season 11 of the show, where she performed a unique cover of the holiday favorite “Frosty the Snowman.”

Vanderwaal’s original songs, which she got to belt out on the “America’s Got Talent” stage this season, include “I Don’t Know My Name,” “Clay,” “Beautiful Thing” and “Light the Sky.” To get into the Christmas spirit, take a look at her ukulele cover from last year below to prepare for her headlining this Monday’s Holiday Spectacular:

“America’s Got Talent” Winner Sings “Frosty the Snowman”

Though Vanderwaal is one of the youngest people to ever win “America’s Got Talent,” her age did not stop her from blowing the judges away. This season’s judges included Howie Mandel, Mel. B, Heidi Klum, Nick Cannon and Simon Cowell. Mandel and Cowell both dubbed VanderWaal “the next Taylor Swift” before she won $1 million on the competition show. She also was awarded the opportunity to headline a show in Las Vegas and later signed a record deal with Columbia Records.

VanderWaal’s debut album, “Perfectly Imperfect,” was released Dec. 2. In addition to VanderWaal taking the stage of “America’s Got Talent” for the Holiday Spectacular, other fan-favorite performers bringing the holiday spirit include, according to Billboard:

“Sal Valentinetti, Brian Justin Crum, The Clairvoyants, Mat Franco, Philadelphia Eagle magician Jon Dorenbos, Jackie Evancho, Calysta Bevier, The Silhouettes, Ronee Martin, Piff the Magic Dragon, Terry Fator, Olate Dogs, The Regurgitator and Professor Splash.”

Celebrity guest performers include magicians Penn & Teller, singer Andra Day and popular a cappella group Pentatonix.

The “America’s Got Talent” Holiday Spectacular airs Monday, Dec. 19 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
