Valentine’s Day: glittery little red heart confetti, chocolate-covered strawberries, sweet-smelling roses and an abundance of Instagram photos. These are just a few of the many things that are prevalent on Valentine’s Day but, hey, sometimes it can get overwhelming when all you see in stores are sparkly pink and red cards and trending themes over social media. Whether you’re single or not around this time of year, it can have it’s benefits. And also it’s downfalls.

There can be certain elements of over-sharing Valencia-filtered photos but it can be also just be nice to spend some quality time with the ones you love!

Take a look at these Instagram versus reality posts. Filtered and all.
