Next is Cedric Byrd of the Wacky Worm Racing Game.

The Wacky Worm Racing Game transforms you from a lazy couch potato to a wacky, wiggling worm. According to their Kickstarter campaign, the “family social game that takes inspirations from classic family games and combine it with a worm dance move as the method of motion, which makes the game challenging yet fun for people for all ages.” Racers (individual, relay or team relay) wear worm suits during the game, making their way down the race mat to beat the other worms.

The mentors think it’s a cute idea and Jim Silver likes the concept. They are all concerned, however, about how dirty the worm costume could get after a few uses. Jen Tan doesn’t believe it would be played often enough and doesn’t pass it to the toy box. Dylan Lauren agrees, passing on the idea. Silver thinks it needs to be less expensive. They do not make it to the next round.

Hosted by “Modern Family” star Eric Stonestreet, “The Toy Box” helps inventors make their toy creation dreams become a reality. According to their website, the inventions are brought before mentors, including Dylan’s Candy Bar owner Dylan Lauren, toy guru Jim Silver and Pixar creative director of Consumer Products, Jen Tan. If they pass phase one, they then have the opportunity to face the ultimate toy-loving panel of judges: kids. The panel features Sophia Grace Brownlee, Aalyrah Caldwell, Toby Grey and Noah Ritter. The kids determine which toys make it to the finals and, ultimately, the one winning toy that will sold at Toys“R”Us.

A new episode airs each Friday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
