Toy: Cyborg Princess

Inventor: James Farmer

Cyborg Princess is “a series of alternate-world characters and comic books that serve as futuristic emblems of female empowerment,” according to ABC.

The kid judges seem intrigued by the toy, but not everyone is convinced. Gideon thinks it’s weird and Emma worries that the toys, which are recycled out of trash, aren’t clean. Paxton doesn’t view it as a toy since they can’t really be played with, but Joachim thinks it’s very original and immersive. Sydney thinks the toy, which she views more as a collectible, is boring. Cyborg Princess receives three out of five “yes” votes, passing it to the next round.

Ultimately, Cyborg Princess receives no votes to pass it to the finale.

Hosted by “Modern Family” star Eric Stonestreet, “The Toy Box” helps inventors make their toy creation dreams become a reality. According to their website, the inventions are brought before a panel of the ultimate toy-loving judges: kids. The rotating panel features Noah Ritter, Olivia Trujillo, Madison Stevens, Emma Sobel, Sydney Mae Estrella, Adi Ash, Paxton Booth, Kyle Lee, Joachim Powell and Gideon Reynolds. The kids determine which toys make it to the finals and, ultimately, the one winning inventor who will win $100,000 and have their toy sold at Toys“R”Us.

A new episode airs each Sunday at 7 p.m. on ABC.
