Twitter Facebook LinkedIn Flipboard 0 ABC Toy: Chromo Tag Inventor: Larry and Steven Huetteman Chromo Tag is “a color-changing outdoor action game,” according to ABC. The mentors are very intrigued by the color-exploding idea and try it out for themselves. Jen Tan thinks the design could be improved and Jim Silver sees its potential. Dylan Lauren doesn’t see the high-tech aspect and decides not to pass it to the Toy Box. Tan likes it and gives it the green light, as does Silver. In the Toy Box, the kid judges find the color-changing element of the game magical and Toby Grey thinks it’s very special and unique. They all like that it combines elements of both laser tag and paintball. Aalyrah Caldwell thinks it’s very fun, as does Sophia Grace Brownlee. They find it a bit concerning, however, that the packs would not come with a water gun. Ultimately, they “without a doubt” make it to the finals. WITHOUT A DOUBT! According to their website, the inventions are brought before mentors, including Dylan’s Candy Bar owner Dylan Lauren, toy guru Jim Silver and Pixar creative director of Consumer Products, Jen Tan. If they pass phase one, they then have the opportunity to face the ultimate toy-loving panel of judges: kids. The panel features Sophia Grace Brownlee, Aalyrah Caldwell, Toby Grey and Noah Ritter. The kids determine which toys make it to the finals and, ultimately, the one winning toy that will sold at Toys“R”Us. A new episode airs each Friday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
