Russell Brand Almost Arrested Fox News

Russell Brand almost gets arrested outside of the Fox News building for filming on their property. Brand has a web series called The Trews, also known as ‘True News’, and one of his segments go wrong.

Brand posts up in front of the Fox New building and begins to film a new video for his YouTube channel. He explains why he’s filming outside the Fox News building:

“Here we are at Fox’s headquarters, all the greats are here – Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity – all the people who refuse to have us on the show. Sean Hannity, who booked us and then cancelled us. So we are going to do a Trew special from here, in the heart of the establishment.”

Russell Brand almost gets arrested, as a security guard interrupts him, just as he starts to get into his groove for the Trews segment.

“Do you want to be arrested,” the guard asks Brand when he wants know why he can’t film outside of the Fox News building. He begins to debate with a few security guards, asking who owns the building, and they reply with: “It doesn’t matter, do you want get arrested?”

This does not go over well with Brand, who’s still angry at having his guest appearance on The Sean Hannity Show cancelled.

Brand puts himself in further danger of being arrested when he enters the building, pushing his limits to film the Trews segment. He asks the security officials of the Fox News building for a tour, knowing he won’t get one.

Brand asks, “Can I come up, have a look around, maybe have a look at the studio, touch some stuff, meet some people from The Sean Hannity Show?”

He soon leaves the Fox News building, whether it is by force or on his own accord is unknown.

You can watch his Trews segment below.

Russell Brand could have gotten himself arrested, for filming outside the Fox News building. Brand will continue to push his limits with his enemy Fox News, and we’ll probably see him do something more outrageous in the future.
