The winner of the Tony for Best Featured Actor in a Play is Reed Birney for “The Humans.”

• David Furr for “Noises Off”
• Richard Goulding for “King Charles III”
• Michael Shannon for “Long Day’s Journey Into Night”

He has had a long career in theatre, dating back to the ’70s and has appeared in works such as “Gemini,” “An Imaginary Life,” “The Exact Center of the Universe” and “Stuff Happens.”
