Thom Yorke of Radiohead has fans in speculation, since he posted a cryptic image of mysterious new record. The wonky eyed musician is posting many odd images on Twitter, but this picture has people leading to think a new Radiohead album is on the way.

Yorke’s picture, a white vinyl, with a weird stencil like design, spinning on a record player, has the internet trying hard to solve this mystery.

Yorke is a busy man with another band, solo work, creating apps, and making remixes. He was recently revealed to be Sisi BakBak, the producer who remixed artist SBTRKT’s “Hold On”. He also appeared as a surprise DJ, at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, back in August.

He isn’t the only busy Radiohead member though. Guitar player, Jonny Greenwood, helped out on the score to Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming film “Inherent Vice”. Drummer, Phillip Selway, also recorded his second solo LP, “Weatherhouse”, which is slated for an October release.

It’s been over three years since the acclaimed band released a new record. Greenwood, who also has a brother Colin Greenwood that plays bass in Radiohead, said that back in July that the band would start up in September. He mentioned that they will be playing, rehearsing, and recording to see how it sounds.

There’s also the possibility that it might not be the follow-up to the band’s 2011 album “The King of Limb”. Some fans believe it’s the new Atoms for Peace record, Thom Yorke’s side project with The Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, Joey Waronker who played drums in R.E.M. and Beck, and Brazilian percussionist Mauro Refosco. The band released their first album “Amok” last February.

Another theory to Yorke’s mysterious record is that it’s comprised of full-length recordings from Radiohead’s PolyFauna app. Described as an “exploratory audio-visual” app, it was recently updated on September 1.

Whatever Thom Yorke is hinting at with his new mysterious record will soon be revealed, but for now the internet continues to give their theories behind it.
