The Oscars are less than one week away and social media is already preparing for Hollywood’s biggest night of the year. Instead of predicting who will win in what category, however, the internet is going in a bit of a different direction by creating new categories all their own.
From funny suggestions such as “Most Meme-able Motion Picture” or “Worst Remake that Nobody Wanted” to bigger political/social issues like whitewashing, social media users helped create all new Oscars categories. Take a look at some of the best responses below:
