The entertainment company announced today that some movies and television shows will now be available for download, perfect for those times when you have no internet connection. According to the Netflix announcement, all users have to do is “click the download button on the details page for a film or TV series and you can watch it later without an internet connection.” In order to actually download the show or movie, however, you will need an internet connection. Airplane mode. Road trip mode. Stuck-in-the-subway-for-20-minutes mode. Netflix also plans on also adding an “Available for Download” section to make browsing easier. Current offerings include “Stranger Things,” “Orange Is the New Black,” “Narcos” and “The Crown.” According to The Verge, current movie selections available for download include “Minions,” “Good Will Hunting,” “Pulp Fiction” and more. Once customers update the Netflix app to include the new feature, the download button will appear next to the play button.
