How does a three-time Tony Award winner, “Hamilton” creator and MacArthur Genius Grant awardee grow up to be a host on late-night TV? Just ask Lin-Manuel Miranda, who is set to host “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.

In the first set of promos, Miranda channels his inner Carrie Bradshaw and jokes about not being able to get his hands on “Hamilton” tickets. Appearing alongside SNL’s Cecily Strong, who impersonated Miranda last week in a “Family Feud” skit, he also storms out, asking, “What do jerks like to eat?” He leaves, but not before taking his vinegar, which he brought from home.

The promo also pokes fun at Miranda, who is seemingly always doing some form of freestyle rap, in addition to Strong fangirling over Miranda, asking him to sign her “Hamilton” Playbill, his original cap from “In the Heights,” a bag of magic beans from his “Into the Woods” high school production and even a chalice from his First Communion. He anxiously asks if she robbed his mother’s house, jokingly adding “Is my mother okay?”

Appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Miranda called Strong’s impersonation “the greatest,” adding that it was “pretty cool.” He also discussed his favorite episodes, including the time Fred Savage hosted, and how nervous he is to host.

Miranda is set to host SNL this Saturday, Oct. 8 starting at 11:30 p.m. on NBC. Twenty One Pilots is slated to be the musical guest.
