Lily Rabe Returns To AHS

Lily Rabe is coming to ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’, and she will be reprising her role from the ‘Asylum’ installment. Sister Mary Eunice is going to see the show, and we might get a more naive version of her.

American Horror Story: Freak Show has announced yesterday that Neil Patrick Harris and his husband David Burtka will be joining the cast of AHS: Freak Show, which will see Harris work with the show’s co-creator Ryan Murphy a second time. The news just keeps getting better and better for fans of the series, that is now airing their fourth season.

AHS: Freak Show is the only installment of the TV horror series that Rabe hasn’t showed up in, and fans have been wondering if she would end up being included in the new season. Thankfully she will be rejoining Jessica Lange and crew once again as a familiar face.

Lily Rabe will return in American Horror Story: Freak Show as Sister Mary Eunice, an innocent nun who serves at Briarcliff Manor, the sanitarium in AHS: Freak Show. In AHS: Asylum, her character becomes the new host to the Devil, and takes over as one of the main antagonists in the show.

American Horror Story’s installments are becoming even more connected with Rabe returning as Sister Mary in AHS: Freak Show. Fan’s of the show have already notice Naomi Grossman’s character Pepper, who appears as an inmate in AHS: Asylum, as an attraction in Freak Show. Sister Mary will contribute to her backstory, where we will see how Pepper becomes a patient at the sanitarium.

Lily Rabe will make her American Horror Story: Freak Show appearance during the tenth episode. The episode will serve as the series’ big winter cliffhanger. She is currently starring in the ABC series ‘The Whispers’, and she will shoot her scenes for AHS: Freak Show this weekend.
