We all live in a yellow submarine…Lego set. The toy brick building company announced today that The Beatles’ iconic Yellow Submarine has resurfaced, but this time, in a groovy Lego form.

The design was created by Legos Ideas contributor Kevin Szeto, a long-time Beatles fan. Describing his motivation for building the model, Szeto wrote, “The creation of the Yellow Submarine model was really my way of showing my affection for The Beatles, as well as trying to pay a small tribute to The Beatles phenomenon. The Yellow Submarine is bright, fun, and colourful, which also made it a good subject to translate into LEGO form.” The model was then taken to Legos designer Justin Ramsden, who said that seeing The Beatles in Lego form “is a dream come true” since he grew up listening to their music.

According to Lego Ideas, fans can “take a surreal trip under the seas in the LEGO® version of the Yellow Submarine from the iconic 1968 animated musical fantasy film inspired by The Beatles. Ideal for display or role-play fun, the Yellow Submarine features loads of cool, authentic details including a cockpit for the included minifigures of John, Paul, George and Ringo.” The set also includes a Jeremy Hillary Boob figure, a character from the animated 1968 “Yellow Submarine” movie.

Other fan-designed sets include a Particle Accelerator, an adorable BB-8, and a Modular Train Station. Fan-favorite Lego sets include The Disney Castle, the Millennium Falcon and the DeLorean Time Machine from “Back to the Future.”

The fan-designed Yellow Submarine set consists of more than 550 bricks, costs $60 and will be made available Nov. 1.
