Krispy Kreme is upping the game when it comes to creative food combinations. The popular doughnut chain has released two new flavors—and they are inspired by classic cookie brands.

According to a press release, the limited-edition collection features Nutter Butter and Chips Ahoy! cookie doughnuts. “Like Krispy Kreme, OREO, NUTTER BUTTER and CHIPS AHOY! are cookie institutions,” Jackie Woodward, Krispy Kreme’s chief marketing officer, said. “Only Krispy Kreme can take these treats to the next level by infusing flavors to make each cookie an awesome doughnut experience.”

We've got a new spin on cookies: turn them into doughnuts! Now available in participating US shops. # # #doughnut #krispykreme #delicious #yum

The Nutter Butter Cookie Twist Doughnut, according to Krispy Kreme, is an Original Glazed Twist that’s drizzled with peanut butter icing, while the Chips Ahoy! Cookie Doughnut is an unglazed shell filled with cookie dough Kreme and dipped in dark chocolate. Both doughnuts are topped with pieces of the iconic cookies. Krispy Kreme’s Oreo Cookies and Kreme Doughnut is also part of the collection, though the fan-favorite flavor will remain on the menu.

These aren’t the first new flavors Krispy Kreme has recently introduced. Last month, they debuted the Spring collection, which features a Reese’s Peanut Butter Doughnut. The chain also released a “Simpsons“-inspired doughnut in Australia and is expected to launch their new lemon doughnut soon, as hinted in an Instagram post about their classic cookies collection.

A new doughnut collection will be arriving in shops this week. Any guesses on the flavors? (Hint: it’s not – yet.) #doughnut # #krispykreme #surprise #delicious
