Hulu Expands With Old School Nickelodeon Shows: Strikes Deal With Viacom

Hulu will be adding classic Nickelodeon shows, like ‘Ren and Stimpy’ and ‘Hey Arnold!’, to the their ever growing library. They have expanded on their partnership with Viacom, which was forged in 2011, to bring more of their programming to Hulu.

You’ll soon be able to stream 90’s and 00’s Nickelodeon shows from your computer or gaming console. Craig Erwich, Hulu’s Head of Content, has announced the agreement in a blog post.

Today, I am excited to share the news that we are extending our partnership with Viacom –to continue bringing thousands of episodes from some of Viacom’s most popular series and a selection of kids content to Hulu. We will be adding top titles from Nickelodeon to our Hulu Kids offering that have never before been made available to stream on Hulu.

Viacom isn’t just bringing Nickelodeon shows like ‘Drake and Josh’ and ‘Invader Zim’ to Hulu, but also programming from MTV, Comedy Central, Spike, VH1, TVLand, BET, and Logo.

Hulu is expanding with classic Nickelodeon shows, and a dozen more programs. Concerning comedies, Viacom will add ‘Workaholics’, ‘Tosh.0’, and ‘Key and Peele’. It will also remain a hot spot to catch ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart’ and ‘The Colbert Report’.

Viacom will also be adding a bunch of reality TV shows to Hulu’s services like ‘Catfish’, ‘Jersey Shore’, ‘Basketball Wives’, ‘Teen Mom 2’, and ‘16 and Pregnant’.

Hulu is also increasing on their Latino programming for children. They will soon offer ‘Spongebob Squarepants’ and ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ in Spanish, on top of all their English language shows.

Hulu will be adding classic Nickelodeon shows, and a lot more Viacom programming, over the course of the next couple weeks. I’m sure we’re just as excited to binge episodes of ‘Ren and Stimpy’ as Hulu is to continue their deal with Viacom.
