GTA5 First Person View

Grand Theft Auto 5 is getting a first person view mode, as Rockstar has revealed the new mode and many other updates for the blockbuster video game. The open world game has been out a little over a year, but the changes to GTA5 come to promote the release of the video game on Xbox One and PS4 on November 18, and on PC January 27.

Rockstar’s biggest reveal today for GTA5 is the first person view mode. This will allow people to play the game like an open world first person shooter. This mode will be customizable and will allow people to see the revamped graphics of the next-gen version better. You can walk in first person, drive in first person, but you cannot hide behind cover in first person.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is getting a first person view mode, and it will change the way the game is played forever. Rather than events occurring in the zoomed out view we’re used to playing GTA in, the events will instead unfold around you, giving the game a whole new perspective.

The animation director for GTA5, Rob Nelson says, “It’s a very intense, in-your-face experience… literally. Obviously, we felt like one of the most compelling things you could do to make an experience people have had before feel different was the new first-person mode.”

GTA5’s updates just don’t consist of the first person view mode though. Seeing it is coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC, you can expect the graphics to jump from 720p to 1080p. There are also 20 new animals, new banter from pedestrians, 32 new vehicles, 150 more radio tunes, and more weapons to wreak havoc.
