Spring has officially sprung on Google. To mark the spring equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, an adorably mischievous Doodle made its debut Monday morning.

According to the Google Doodle’s description, the spring equinox (or vernal equinox) highlights a seasonal turning point where the day and night are equal in length. “Almost everywhere in the world today, nighttime and daytime are each 12 hours.” The Doodle features an adorable, sleepy mouse and its bright sunshiny flower. Other springtime Google Doodle illustrations have featured vibrant colors, festive designs and even a rock family.

Conversely, the Southern Hemisphere welcomed their first day of fall on Monday. Their autumnal (fall) equinox was marked with colorful leaves, warm tea and the cute mouse—donning a little red scarf.
