Somewhere in a magical land far, far away known as Orlando, the bro who plays Gaston in Disney World’s Belle’s Village is humming a happy tune. It goes a little something like this. “Noooo one’s… slick as Gaston, no one’s quick as Gaston, no one’s neck’s as incredibly thick as Gaston’s…” Indeed today was one of triumph for the big bicep-ed Disney dude who totally owned a tourist who dared challenge him to a push-up contest.
The fake haired foe from Beauty and the Beast was minding his own business, flashing his charming smile, and regaling admirers with tales of his own awesomeness, when suddenly a brazen stranger swaggered into town. Gaston’s eyebrow was first raised when the stranger dared question his status as the strongest man alive. His ego was then peaked as he noticed the stranger’s brother recording the entire episode on his cellphone. When the mysterious man dared challenge the great Gaston to a push-up contest however, it was as they say, “on.”
Above you’ll find the video in which the challenger’s brother chronicles the entire event. He was, of course, later generous enough to upload the footage to YouTube, in order to allow his bro the fun of reliving his humilitation time and time again before strangers across the globe. As you’ll see, Gaston more than rises to the occasion… at times using only one arm, as he defeats his challenger with ease.
Unfortunately, our bold challenger ends up learning the hard way that no one hits like Gaston, matches wits like Gaston. Oh and by the way, mysterious challenger, “in a spitting match nobody spits like Gaston” so don’t get any ideas about an alternate challenge format.
As Gaston has learned over the years, haters gonna hate. Fortunately for him however, few have the wit, the class, and the heroic spirit to defeat a villain such has he. Of course, amid all the limp bicep-ed young men he’s sent packing, once in a blue moon, a hero does rise to the task…
