“Fuller House” is welcoming its viewers back home. Fans can officially begin binge-watching season 2 when it hits Netflix on Dec. 9, just in time for the holidays.

Candace Cameron Bure announced the news on “The View” and confirmed that a central theme will be the holidays, complete with Halloween and Christmas. Of course, it will also stay true to centering on family as well.

The spinoff series is based on “Full House,” which first premiered in 1987. It follows the lives of DJ (played by Bure), sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) as they take on life’s challenges together, all while making memories. Much like the original, Sweetin and Barber’s character’s move in to help Bure’s character raise her three children in her San Francisco childhood home.

The season 1 official trailer brought in more than 6.5 million views and after premiering in February, was quickly renewed.
