This Is How Daredevil Looks In The New Netflix Original Series

Daredevil Netflix

The way Daredevil will appear in the upcoming Netflix Original Series is a far cry from the 2003 Ben Affleck film. Since the movie was hailed as one of the worst superhero films, Marvel seems to be distancing themselves as far as possible from that version of the blind vigilante.

Footage of the new Daredevil Netflix miniseries has been aired at New York City Comic Con. Matt Murdock, lawyer by day, crime fighter by night, is replacing his old duds with something grittier.

Daredevil has gone from looking like this…

To this…

His new outfit is inspired by Frank Millar’s ‘Daredevil: The Man Without Fear’. Millar’s creations have inspired a ton of films today, some of them being ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, ‘Dredd’, and ‘Wanted’.

Charlie Cox, known for ‘Boardwalk Empire’, will play Daredevil/Matt Murdock. Rosario Dawson will be Claire Temple, an assistant to the blind lawyer and crime fighter, whose alter ego is the Night Nurse.

Eldon Henson is playing Foggy Nelson, Murdock’s best friend and lawyer partner. Wilson Fisk, better known as the Kingpin, will be the villain once again, with Vincent D’Onofrio taking up the role.

Daredevil, the Netflix Original Series, will be much darker than the 2003 adaptation no one liked.

In the footage that has been revealed at NYCCC, Murdock violently assaults a criminal who breaks into the home of Karen Page, Daredevil’s love interest played by True Blood’s Deborah Ann Wohl.

The NYCCC Daredevil panel says fans won’t be sure what side to root for, since there is no clear line between who’s good and evil in this version.

Netflix’s of Daredevil is meant for a more mature audience, and whole series will feel like a 13-hour film.

The future for Daredevil will also feature crossovers with upcoming three upcoming Marvel series, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. They will later join forces to become the superhero team ‘The Defenders’, which will be another Netflix Original Series.

You can expect Netflix give Daredevil the glory the underrated comic book hero deserves, when the 13 episode series comes out in the future.
