The first couple to take the dance floor for Halloween Night is Terra Jolé and Sasha Farber, dancing a cha cha to “Day-O” by Harry Belafonte.

Julianne Hough says they really set the mood and tone with the Beetlejuice-inspired dance, adding that they’re great as a team. She advises them to push a little more though. Bruno Tonioli says he liked it with the “Tim Burton feel,” but says it could have been sharper. Carrie Ann Inaba likes the performance, but wasn’t totally impressed with the lack of “wow” factor. They score a 24 out of 30.

The Halloween spirit takes over the dance floor tonight as part of “Halloween Night.” Couples will dance scary and spooky-themed dances to a style that they have yet to dance. Whoever tops the leaderboard tonight will be granted immunity and addition points for the evening, while the six remaining couples will engage in a dance-off. The dance-off styles will include a salsa, cha cha or jive. Three couples from the dance off will receive additional points to their judges’ scores. One couple will be eliminated, leaving six couples left as the competition approaches the semifinals.
