The first two couples to dance in the dance-off are Simone Biles/Sasha Farber and Nancy Kerrigan/Artem Chigvintsev, dancing a cha cha to earn additional points for the evening.

Len Goodman says he didn’t want Nancy and Simone dancing against each other but says one had a slight lead over the other. Mandy Moore agrees, while Bruno Tonioli says both did very good dances but they were different styles. Carrie Ann Inaba calls one classic and the other modern. The judges pick Simone and Sasha, as did America with 63 percent of votes. They will earn two extra points for the evening.
