Starting off the second round are Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy, dancing a jazz routine to “What a Wonderful World” by Ray Chew Live.
Len Goodman calls it very fun and gives them a standing ovation. Julianne Hough commends Normani’s modesty and adds that the dance was “outstanding.” Bruno Tonioli calls it hot, vibrant and colorful. Carrie Ann Inaba says she can see Normani’s power. They score a perfect 40.

Welcome to the semifinals! The four remaining couples will perform two dances: one for the Judges’ Challenge in which each judge has been paired with a couple during rehearsals to challenge them with a specific dance and song. The second round will feature a dance style that the couple has not yet performed in the competition. Featured dance styles include jive, rumba, foxtrot, Viennese waltz, quickstep, tango and jazz. Three couples will earn their spots in the two-night finale next week.

According to ABC, Kordei “is one-fourth of one of the most popular girl groups in the world, Fifth Harmony. The release of Fifth Harmony’s sophomore album, “7/27,” is the latest in a series of record-breaking accomplishments for the group. “Work from Home,” the album’s 3x-platinum certified first single, earned Fifth Harmony their first top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, notching the top spot on both the Billboard Rhythmic and Pop Songs charts.”
Now in its 24th season, “Dancing with the Stars” is hosted by Tom Bergeron and sports broadcaster Erin Andrews. The judging panel is composed of ballroom experts Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. Their scores, along with America’s votes, determine who gets to stay and who is sent home each week as couples vie for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.
The remaining contestants include Simone Biles with Sasha Farber, Normani Kordei with Val Chmerkovskiy, David Ross with Lindsay Arnold and Rashad Jennings with Emma Slater.
“Dancing with the Stars” airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
