The next couple to take the dance floor is Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd, dancing a foxtrot to “Love Me Now” by John Legend.
Carrie Ann Inaba says there was improvement from last week, but adds that Nick really needs to breathe and relax while he’s dancing. Len Goodman calls it “hectic,” while Julianne Hough says she loves their partnership. She adds that “less is more.” Bruno Tonioli encourages Nick to relax and lead in the dance, calling it “too skippy.” They score a 25.

According to ABC, Viall has taken many chances to find love over the years. Most recently, he appeared on season 21 of “The Bachelor” and proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi. “One of 11 siblings, Nick maintains close ties with his family. His parents, Chris and Mary, have been married for 37 years. Nothing would make them happier than to see Nick find what they have found in each other.”
Now in its 24th season, “Dancing with the Stars” is hosted by Tom Bergeron and sports broadcaster Erin Andrews. The judging panel is composed of ballroom experts Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. Their scores, along with America’s votes, determine who gets to stay and who is sent home each week as couples vie for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.
The current contestants include Olympic gold medalist gymnast Simone Biles with partner Sasha Farber, Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei with Val Chmerkovskiy, “Saturday Night Live” alum Chris Kattan with Witney Carson and this season’s Bachelor Nick Viall with new mom Peta Murgatroyd. Other stars who will be competing include Heather Morris, Bonner Bolton, David Ross, Mr. T, Erika Jayne, Rashad Jennings, Nancy Kerrigan and Charo.
“Dancing with the Stars” airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
