The next couple on the dance floor is Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd, dancing a jive to “Fun, Fun, Fun” by The Beach Boys.

Nick Carter says he needs to work on his moves more, but adds that it was a fun dance. Len Goodman says he loved the fun and freedom, but adds that it needed more polish and refinement. Bruno Tonioli agrees but loves that he put effort into it. Carrie Ann Inaba loves that he came out of his shell. They score a 28.

According to ABC, Viall has taken many chances to find love over the years. Most recently, he appeared on season 21 of “The Bachelor” and proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi. “One of 11 siblings, Nick maintains close ties with his family. His parents, Chris and Mary, have been married for 37 years. Nothing would make them happier than to see Nick find what they have found in each other.”

Now in its 24th season, “Dancing with the Stars” is hosted by Tom Bergeron and sports broadcaster Erin Andrews. The judging panel is composed of ballroom experts Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. Their scores, along with America’s votes, determine who gets to stay and who is sent home each week as couples vie for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

The current contestants include Olympic gold medalist gymnast Simone Biles with partner Sasha Farber, Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei with Val Chmerkovskiy and this season’s Bachelor Nick Viall with new mom Peta Murgatroyd. The remaining stars include Heather Morris, Bonner Bolton, David Ross, Rashad Jennings and Nancy Kerrigan.

“Dancing with the Stars” airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
