The first couple to take the dance floor for week two is Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev, dancing a cha cha to “No Rights No Wrongs” by Jess Glynne.

Len Goodman calls it a” nice routine,” despite losing control at times. Julianne Hough says she did not disappoint during the routine, while Bruno Tonioli recommends the steps be a bit crisper and controlled. Carrie Ann Inaba says she was a bit “off her step” but adds that she really found herself. They score a 28 out of 40.

According to ABC, Kerrigan “has been one of America’s most recognizable sports icons for over 20 years. Her rise to competing at a national level began when she placed 3rd at the 1991 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, allowing her to qualify for the 1991 World Championships, where she won the bronze medal as part of an American sweep. In 1992 she earned a bronze medal in the Albertville Winter Olympics and the silver medal at the 1992 World Championships. In 1993 Kerrigan became the United States Ladies Champion and followed that up with her historic silver medal performance at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics.”

Now in its 24th season, “Dancing with the Stars” is hosted by Tom Bergeron and sports broadcaster Erin Andrews. The judging panel is composed of ballroom experts Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. Their scores, along with America’s votes, determine who gets to stay and who is sent home each week as couples vie for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

The current contestants include Olympic gold medalist gymnast Simone Biles with partner Sasha Farber, Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei with Val Chmerkovskiy, “Saturday Night Live” alum Chris Kattan with Witney Carson and this season’s Bachelor Nick Viall with new mom Peta Murgatroyd. Other stars who will be competing include Heather Morris, Bonner Bolton, David Ross, Mr. T, Erika Jayne, Rashad Jennings, Nancy Kerrigan and Charo.

“Dancing with the Stars” airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
