Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko dance next, performing a jazz routine to “Little Shop of Horrors” by Alan Menken.
Carrie Ann Inaba calls it refreshing, adding that she definitely showed improvement. Julianne Hough disagrees slightly, explaining that it wasn’t her strength. She says it was like watching something straight off of Broadway, though. Bruno Tonioli likes the high-energy performance, commending the dance as a whole. They score a 27.

The Halloween spirit takes over the dance floor tonight as part of “Halloween Night.” Couples will dance scary and spooky-themed dances to a style that they have yet to dance. Whoever tops the leaderboard tonight will be granted immunity and addition points for the evening, while the six remaining couples will engage in a dance-off. The dance-off styles will include a salsa, cha cha or jive. Three couples from the dance off will receive additional points to their judges’ scores. One couple will be eliminated, leaving six couples left as the competition approaches the semifinals.

According to ABC, “Jana Kramer is an award-winning country artist. Her platinum debut single, ‘Why Ya Wanna,’ soared to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in 2012, making her the most played new artist of that year, and her self-titled debut album hit No. 5. In 2013, the Academy of Country Music honored her with its Top New Female Artist Award, and Blake Shelton picked her to open on his ‘Ten Times Crazier” tour.’” She has also starred in numerous television shows, most notably as Alex Dupre in “One Tree Hill.”
Now in its 23rd season, “Dancing with the Stars” is hosted by Tom Bergeron and sports broadcaster Erin Andrews. The judging panel is composed of ballroom experts Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. Their scores, along with America’s votes, determine who gets to stay and who is sent home each week as couples vie for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.
This season’s star-studded line-up includes Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez with Val Chmerkovskiy, actress Marilu Henner with Derek Hough, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte with Cheryl Burke, former NFL wide receiver Calvin Johnson Jr. with Lindsay Arnold, reality TV star Terra Jolé with Sasha Farber, country singer Jana Kramer with Gleb Savchenko, and IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe with Sharna Burgess. Jake T. Austin, Rick Perry, Vanilla Ice, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Amber Rose and Maureen McCormick have since been eliminated from the competition.
“Dancing with the Stars” airs every Monday night starting at 8 p.m. on ABC.
