The next couple to take the ballroom dance floor is Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko, dancing a 1970s-inspired samba to “Get Down Tonight” by KC and the Sunshine Band.

Bruno Tonioli praises her performance, calling it “hot.” Carrie Ann Inaba calls out their lifts and says there were issues with musicality. Len Goodman calls it “clean” and quick,” but says it needed more samba content. Julianne Hough says there was a lot of pressure, but adds that she believes in them and liked the “funk” in the dance. After Gleb says they put on a show and that it’s not a “dance competition,” they score a 34.

It’s “Eras Night” and the dance floor is ready for a serious dose of nostalgia. The remaining couples will perform dance routines inspired by various decades to dance styles such as the Charleston, foxtrot and jitterbug. Head judge Len Goodman returns to the judging panel this evening. The first set of team dances also occurs tonight, with Team Past (James, Calvin, Ryan, Maureen) going head-to-head against Team Future (Marilu, Laurie, Terra, Jana). Who will come out on top? One couple will be eliminated at the end of tonight’s episode, leaving seven couples who will be preparing spooky performances for Halloween Week next Monday.
