Finishing off the first round of Halloween Night are James Hinchcliffe and Jenna Johnson, stepping in for Sharna Burgess, who injured her knee last week during rehearsals. They are performing a Viennese waltz to “You Don’t Own Me” by Grace ft. G-Easy from Suicide Squad.

Julianne Hough acknowledges the difficulties of switching partners, but says he knocked it out of the park. Bruno Tonioli calls it thrilling, while Carrie Ann Inaba says it was “beyond incredible.” They score a perfect 30, securing immunity.

The Halloween spirit takes over the dance floor tonight as part of “Halloween Night.” Couples will dance scary and spooky-themed dances to a style that they have yet to dance. Whoever tops the leaderboard tonight will be granted immunity and addition points for the evening, while the six remaining couples will engage in a dance-off. The dance-off styles will include a salsa, cha cha or jive. Three couples from the dance off will receive additional points to their judges’ scores. One couple will be eliminated, leaving six couples left as the competition approaches the semifinals.

The judging panel is composed of ballroom experts Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. Their scores, along with America’s votes, determine who gets to stay and who is sent home each week as couples vie for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

This season’s star-studded line-up includes Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez with Val Chmerkovskiy, actress Marilu Henner with Derek Hough, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte with Cheryl Burke, former NFL wide receiver Calvin Johnson Jr. with Lindsay Arnold, reality TV star Terra Jolé with Sasha Farber, country singer Jana Kramer with Gleb Savchenko, and IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe with Sharna Burgess.
