Derek Fisher and Sharna Burgess dance next, performing a foxtrot to “Hallelujah, I Love Her So” by Ray Charles. Fisher hopes to show his mom, who loves the show, that he can truly become a ballroom dancer.
Carrie Ann Inaba says that Fisher is very charismatic, but adds that he still dances small. Len Goodman likes the lightheartedness of the dance, but says he needs to work more on technique. Bruno Tonioli likes how well he and Burgess work together. They score a 19 out of 30.

Derek Fisher is pretty good but there's room for improvement. Sharna has shown that she can mold athletes into excellent dancers #DWTS

According to ABC, Fisher “spent his entire pre-NBA life in Little Rock, Arkansas. His work ethic and determination were evident even from a young age, but basketball was always what drove him. A stand-out guard in high school, he starred for Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High. Even as a teenager, his leadership qualities were on display for all those who encountered him.” He was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 1996 and hired as the New York Knicks’ head coach in 2014.
The star-studded lineup for the 25th season of “Dancing with the Stars” includes former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens, Hamilton’s Jordan Fisher, “Shark Tank” investor Barbara Corcoran, “Pretty Little Liars” star Sasha Pieterse and “Property Brothers” co-host Drew Scott. Other stars include Victoria Arlen, Nikki Bella and Nick Lachey. Fan-favorite pros Mark Ballas and Cheryl Burke also return to the dance floor this season, along with hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews.
The judging panel features Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. Their scores, along with America’s votes, determine which couples will go home and which ones will advance to compete for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.
“Dancing with the Stars” airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
