The next pair to take the ballroom is Calvin Johnson Jr. and Lindsay Arnold, performing a jazz routine to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. His most memorable year is 2012, the year he broke Jerry Rice’s single-season receiving record.

Bruno Tonioli says he loved the stylistic points, Johnson’s charisma and the performance’s crazy lift. Carrie Ann Inaba says he brought on the fun, much like Rice did when he performed. Julianne Hough calls him and Lindsay’s partnership “magic” and praises giving it his all week after week. She believes there is more to be seen, though. They score a 24 after meeting for the very first time.
